“Single-Again Women’s Ministry” or,
just recently taking the new name of “Sisters Forever” , our ministry
is to ladies who are single again, whether by the death of a spouse
or divorce, which is led by Cherre Mayhue. These ladies all have
a common bond - they are alone again - and enjoy fellowship and
Bible study that helps them to grow in their Christian walk and
to know they are never alone. |

Meet Cherre...
The basis of our ministry’s need is found through studying and applying God’s Word to our lives. Scripture tells us that the Word of God is to be our foundation and stabilizing force. Our ladies meet every Wednesday for Bible study and prayer. Through our Bible study, our goal is to develop a more personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
Our Mission Statement: The purpose of our “Single-Again Women’s Ministry” is to take the lessons God has taught us, through our own life experiences, and use them to help other women who need encouragement and comfort through the lessons God is teaching them.
Single-again women, through death or divorce, is a growing population in the U.S. today and our church has responded by developing this ministry that strives to meet their needs. The purpose of this ministry is to gather like women to share the life of Christ with them and through them. Our goal is to ease loneliness and provide opportunities and activities for these ladies in need of friendship and encouragement. We desire that every woman will find life giving relationships and opportunities to give and receive the personal ministry that is vital to a rich and vibrant life in Christ.
We get together to have fun and fellowship
with each other on a regular basis. We have lunch together the first
Sunday of each month, we take trips together, we attend special
programs, and we sponsor special events such as the yearly “Girl
Friends Luncheon.” We are looking for good times together with other
ladies that are single-again. |
