Julio Pena

Pastor Julio is the Assistant Pastor to Youth and Children’s Ministries here at our church. Pastor Julio came to know Christ as an adult and was called into the ministry a year later. He is a graduate of Trinity Baptist College and has served in the ministry for over 5 years. Jeanne, his wife, accepted Christ as an older teenager and attended Trintiy Baptist College also. Both he and Jeanne have experience with children and teen ministries. They have a passion to reach those that have not yet experienced the gift of eternal life that Jesus Christ offers. Pastor Julio’s goal is to have a Christ-like influence on the lives of our young people so that it can help them grow closer to God. Working alongside parents, and with the help of our congregation, their goal will be to help children and teens develop a heart for God and to grow in the Lord.

They enjoy spending "spare" time as a family camping, hiking, fishing, and enjoying this amazing creation that God has given us. Julio's life verse is I Corinthians 15:58 " Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Jeanne's life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all thy ways aknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." And little Kaitlan's favorite verse is Philippians 3:14 " I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." They are excited about being on our team, and are looking forward to what God is going to do!
